Overview:
The position’s primary responsibility is to be responsible for managing the full spectrum of C&B management and payroll activities for South Asia as well as other HR administrative duties as required
This role will support an employee population which may be across geographies or site level up to middle management. It will have responsibility for a range of C&B and payroll management based on experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the full scope of payroll processing for Australia including activities and not limit to update the payroll vendor on New Hires/Resignee status, ensure the review of Payroll Report, Statutory Payroll State Tax Submission, Employee Lodgments and payroll vendor management.
- Operate in-house payroll in Singapore & Malaysia and preparation & submission of authorities payment eg. CPF (Singapore), EIS, SOCSO etc (Malaysia)
- Participate in Labour/Compensation/Training Surveys and statistical reports from MOM and EDB
- Ensure lodgment of Extended & ChildCare, NS Claim, Maternity, Paternity, Training grants on a timely basis.
- Propose, develop and revise/update HR policies related C&B in coordination with HR advisor/COE
- Support South Asia Payroll Audits, On & Off Boarding Documentation
- Participate in C&B surveys
- Oversee and execute each country’s benefits program and handle the related inquired
- Supports the data accuracy of the SAP HR/iCIMS/HCM and generate internal periodic reporting eg. Turnover, Headcount etc.
- Performs other HR administrative duties as required
Contribute to the implementation of C&B and payroll related policies and procedures developed within the CoE or by the HR Leadership team, making sure new services and programs are in compliance with local policies and procedures for the region.
Implementation of programs to effectively communicate with and train HR staff, employees, managers and key stakeholders on new processes and standard requirements
Delivers services with process improvement mindset to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Builds strong partnerships to foster trust and accountability with all stakeholders
Qualifications:
Education: University degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 years’ experience in C&B and payroll related role
- Possesses a Degree in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution.
- In-house payroll Experienced in Singapore/Malaysia are essential.
- Meticulous and process oriented
- Prior experience in MNC environment and SAP will be an added advantage.
