Accounts Payable Officer

Role Responsibilities:

- Verify invoices for cost allocations, coding and approval before entering into the system
- Prepare and ensure vendor payments within the allocated credit terms
- Review on staff expenses in accordance to Travel & Entertainment Policies
- Ensure timely reimbursement of staff expenses on a monthly basis
- Address vendor and staff queries on payments and claims on a timely basis
- Liaise with procurement to set up vendor’s record or update vendor’s particulars in Oracle. After which, send to Finance Director/Financial Controller for approval
- Liaise with Accountant to set up or update vendor’s bank details in Oracle. After which, send to Finance Director/Financial Controller for approval
- Co-ordinate with Accountants on cash outflow related matters
- Perform reconciliation from AP module to GL module and close Accounts Payable period in Oracle on a monthly basis
- Perform Accounts Payable reconciliations in Trintech on a monthly basis
- Verify Expense Line Owner hierarchy and approval limits set up in Oracle
- Assist in Accounts Payable related annual external audit and ad-hoc internal audit projects
- Perform UAT on systems migration (Expense Line Owner UAT, Bottomline migration UAT, migration of Oracle iExpense to Concur system)
- Ensure compliance of Risk 2.0 requirements
- Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines
- Report to the Financial Management, Regional Management & Compliance any suspicion of market abuse, or pressure or request of any kind to act otherwise than in the best interests of TP ICAP in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Responsibility for ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
