Devise and implement economical voyage plans consistent with customer quality requirements and environmental requirements for each assigned ship. Coordinate and control of all cargo/voyage information among masters, area offices, agents, ST&T departments, and time charter owners.

**Responsibilities**
- Manages assigned ships’ commercial trading utilization through efficient cargo stowage, quality control practice, and voyage planning consistent with company policy & procedures and to coordinate with the Master and other internal departments to carry out ship and port operations in compliance with port, terminal and international regulations.
- Authorizes cargo allocation, consistent with customer quality requirements and ship’s cargo capability and capacity. Supervises ship’s voyage schedule and port/berth rotation ensuring sufficient bunker and cleaning chemicals at all times and agent’s performance.
- Manage and liaise with port agents and vendors including terminals, suppliers, surveyors, service providers to ensure safe and efficient operations. Monitor performance of same and recommend improvements and best practice.
- Liaise and communicate regularly with customers on performance of contracts, ships movements and port activities.
- Liaise with ship owner on technical matters including manning requirements and crew changes, off hires and repair scheduling. Ensure technical matters are coordinated with the best financial and operational outcome for the company.
- Ensures timely receipt of Bill of Lading data to facilitate commencement of preparation by agents and invoicing process includes other charges before authorizing agent to release the Bills which includes port disbursement review.
- Ensures the ship and voyage operation is in compliance with operational aspects of the voyage charter parties pertaining to each cargo. Monitors collection of freight and surrender of Bills of Lading prior to cargo discharge/release consistent with Charter Party terms.
- Monitors time charter owners and ship compliance with operational aspects of time charter parties whenever required. Ship and Port visitations and travelling whenever required.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Marine Transportation Management or Diploma in Nautical Studies (2 nd year shipboard training) or similar qualification in marine business discipline issued by an accredited polytechnic or higher, and
- Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical related industry in terminal, survey or ship owner or shipping related company, or 2 years of sea experience as a Tanker Deck Officer holding Class 3 Certificate of Competency, and
- Excellent communication skills
- Good analytical skill and c omputer proficiency with knowledge of MS Office software.
