We are looking for a **Singapore & ANZ Trade Operations Leader** to work within our integrated Global Trade Team across the world. Do you have a passion for Global Trade (import and export compliance and operations)? Then we would love to hear from you.

**What you’ll do**:

- Work in partnership with global and regional business stakeholders to support the execution of the Global Trade strategy for Singapore & ANZ
- Support Regional Compliance management programs including (but not limited to) import/export licenses, classification, Valuation, and other programs.
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all import and export trade related matters in Singapore & ANZ, which includes import and export daily operation management, Customs Compliance programs, Export controls.
- Support businesses on Customs audits and/or any other relevant government agency inquiries.
- Coordinate with internal resources to feedback escalations from customs broker and classifier Manage activities of regional customs brokers to ensure timely border clearance.
- Maintain and publish operational metrics relevant to Singapore and ANZ operations.
- Analyze operational and compliance metrics and implement improvements where required.
- Conduct business reviews with regional stakeholders on an ongoing basis to drive continuous improvement.
- Other assignments from your manager regarding Trade matters in Asia countries

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent Minimum of 8 years of import/export operations and/or trade compliance experience specific in Singapore.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment.
- Experience supporting both import and export regulatory compliance programs, Export Control of Singapore is a must.
- Knowledge of import/export operational process and customs requirements
- Applies a sense of urgency to resolve problems and supports root-cause analysis.
- Ability to work within teams independently with mínimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize and be adaptable.
- Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different counties and cultures.
- Experience working in the life and science industry preferred.
