**Role and Responsibilities**

This individual will work closely with the Enterprise Architect, BI Analysts, Application and Data owners, taking ownership of the global data design and modelling activities in establishing robust dictionaries, data integration documentation, migration mapping, master and reference data landscapes within the existing architecture and transformational initiatives.

**Functions and processes include**:

- Data flow governance: Cataloguing of data objects and interfaces
- Master data and reference data modelling
- Data Warehousing and Integration design
- Migration planning and mapping
- Modern BI and Analytics architecture design and delivery
- Data flow accountability and responsible for ensuring data flowing through source systems, ERP and various platforms
- Target data architecture design supported by scalable environments, well-defined artefacts, data and interface catalogues, lineages, procedures, and standards collectively enabling seamless end-to-end orchestration and continuous delivery
- Provide guidance during capturing and translating business processes into physical data models, ensuring a scalable and extensible design is adhered
- In conjunction with business and technology transformation activities, define data platform capabilities aligned with current and future business models
- Oversight of data integration design and delivery initiatives including ingesting, transforming, staging, and consuming large amounts of structured and semi-structured data - both on
- premises and on cloud - with knowledge of potential pain points

**Key Skills & Qualifications Requirements**
- Degree in IT, MIS, Data Science or Certification in Data Architecture / Data Engineering
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in data architecture or related field
- A broad understanding of data environments, technologies, BI stacks, ETL and data visualization tools e.g. SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI, MDM experience
- Experience using and implementing hi-performing global data warehouses, data marts using MS Azure data components e.g. Data Factory, Azure Data Lake
- Proven experience in delivering end-to-end cloud data platform solutions using modern agile methodologies, data pipelines, serverless orchestration and CI/CD development processes
- Handed at least one major data modernizations engagement or been part of data transformation journey within an Enterprise.
- Experience operating with an engineering, agile and DevOps mindset
- Extensive experience of successfully and confidently engaging with senior stakeholders and being able to translate the key business drivers and requirements into Data Models and Solution Design
- Proven experience in working with, and driving outcomes from vendors for augmenting the Data Capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling and database and data warehouse design principles.
- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices: Good Understanding of the Enterprise Architecture Concepts and its implementation at the organization level
- Exceptional customer-facing, presentation and influencing skills
- Capacity to train and guide other team members and business teams on best practices data literacy
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent third party and stakeholder management
- Ability to manage 3rd party vendors and lead engagement in matrix environment
