**The Difference You Will Make**:
STERIS Asia Pacific Technical Service Operations Team is looking to bring in an **Inventory Control Specialist** to manage the APAC Technical Service inventory investment through the effective use of management tools to achieve the designated inventory turnover rates and stocking objectives as well as maintaining the integrity of the assets.

Reporting into the Regional Director of Service Operations, you will be an advocate and regional leader for Service systems, train the technical Service teams and ensure the Service systems are up to date and in use. You will also be involved in regional technical care support & KPI performance tracking, as well as leading Service projects across the region.

**What You Will Do**:

- Manage and control Field Service inventory through inventory turn rations, physical inventory operating procedures, and system management reporting accuracy.
- Administer the required annual physical inventory count of all Asia Pac Field Service inventories. Properly document the accounted for balances and work with the Field to minimize the resulting inventory write-offs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain polices for setting up New Field Service Techs in systems and properly facilitating their inner-company transfers.
- Take corrective action to resolve any inventory problems the Field Service Technicians may experience.
- Continuously train Field Service Technicians and Field Service Management on all Service systems & procedures.
- Project lead new system rollout for Service Technicians across Asia Pac.
- Report on Service KPI’s from the system.
- Be the owner and gate keeper of Service systems for Asia Pac.

**Your Expertise**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business with experience in Field Service or Materials Planning role for Engineering transactions.
- Adequate years of experience in production/inventory control or Field Service Management.
- Thorough knowledge of Accounting, Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Material Planning and Field Service Management practices.
- Proficiency in Oracle and Siebel or SAP inventory management and planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sharepoint.
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills.
- Change management, project management skills.
- Ability to pick up new systems and train others.
