Someone who can be instrumental in delivering Covid-19 Vaccine (C19 Vx) shipments in Asia Pacific markets.

Someone who is ready to make an impact in the most agile and compliant way.- The colleague will be physically based in Singapore- The C19 Vx LNO will be supporting C19 Vx Global Transportation activities to APAC markets- The function is also responsible for the global reverse logistics program for C19 packaging materials and temperature loggers

MAIN AREA’S OF RESPONSIBILITY / ACCOUNTABILITIES

Activities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The C19 Vx LNO is the liaison between the C19 Vaccine Plants or Distribution Centres (DC’s), the appointed C19 VX freight forwarders, the Real Time Temperature Monitoring (RTTM) Provider and Solution Provider Controlant and the C19 Vaccine Pfizer functions:

- Intercompany Operations Vaccine Customer Service (IO VCS)
- Temperature Control Logistics (TCL)
- Transportation Quality (TQA)
- LSP Managers
- Pfizer markets- Through coordination and by means of performance reporting and business review meetings he/she will ensure the C19 Vaccine is transported according to the GDP / GMP and Pfizer quality standards and are aligned with the contractual performance agreements- Ensure operational continuity and develop high standards of C19 VX transport services- Drive/support continuous improvement initiatives to drive performance in managerial metrics (ex. on-time delivery, Reverse Logistics rate, etc.)- Identify value creation opportunities across the C19 VX network and drive operational implementation- Support Operational Review Meetings (ORM) with the C19 VX appointed providers- Understand and communicate to all stakeholders future C19 VX service and cost impacts resulting from changes in market conditions, network changes, product volume / mix changes, mode changes, etc.- Leverage Logistics Platform Solutions tools capabilities related to C19 VX financial management, real time temperature monitoring, operations KPI’s, scheduling/planning and optimization, and visibility processes

Detailed responsibilities:

- C-19 VX Transportation activities to APAC markets_- Operationally support the delivery of C19 vaccines to APAC markets considering local market specificities- Manage relationship with external logistics C19 Vx providers in APAC region and their “Control Towers” to ensure required objectives / outcomes are achieved, for instance transport solutions for high volume markets- Pfizer Control Tower operational support of in transit incidents, and intervention. This includes non-standard business hours support as required (weekend on-call system for specific weekends)- Real time shipment intervention and ensuring follow-up actions with transportation suppliers are actioned against predefined playbooks and Standard Operating Procedures.- Ensure that standard work is documented, followed and current version is maintained- Lead IMEX (Operational excellence) initiatives and represent Logistics Delivery Operations (LDO) team in Process centric team (daily whiteboards), own actions, drive resolutions and escalate where necessary- Strengthen knowledge sharing and relationship between C19 VX manufacturing plants, LSP’s, DC’s and Global transportation team

Reverse Logistics Network Operations- Lead Global Reverse Logistics (RL) program for C19 Vx from an operational, systems and master data perspectives- Own the reverse logistics transportation budget at global level- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to further improve RL rate- Manage external Reverse Logistics Control Tower

High level time management- Day-to-day follow-up: 40%- Operational Excellence and project support: 40%- Monthly / Quarterly review meetings and Performance monitoring: 10%- Budget follow-up: 10%

QUALIFICATIONS- Master or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Management), Supply Chain or Logistics is required or any appropriate work experience- Experience- 5 years Pharmaceutical and/or FCMG or experience with a global logistics services provider- Logistics/freight management and problem solving- Cold chain logistics experience is a plus- Highly proficient in English- Good computer literacy (MS office Power Point and Excel, Transportation Management / Optimization Tools, SAP MM/SD modules, etc.)
