Adventure Programme Manager

**Introduction**

We are seeking a new Adventure Programme Manager to take two of our most popular programmes to the next level: our Outdoor Adventure Camps and our Outdoor Adventure Parties.

We run up to 28 weeks of camps every year from our Nature Space in Dempsey. We're looking to expand the number of locations for our camps, expand our camp team, add superstar collaborators and enhance the experiences on offer.

We run up to seven birthday parties each week from our exclusive Nature Space and we're hoping to add a second location soon. Our party programme includes fun team games, nature themed activities, and activities such as den building and campfire cooking. We want to ensure that our customers have the best possible party experience at Wildlings, and we have the right team, equipment and processes in place to deliver a quality experience every time.

**Duties**:

- Your main role is to manage, deliver, improve, and help to scale two of our most popular programmes: _
- Outdoor Adventure Camps
- Recruiting the camp team and setting the schedule
- Training and development of camp staff
- Writing risk assessments and operating procedures
- Testing, documenting and training staff on new camp experiences
- Managing bookings and customer service related to the camp programme
- Securing resources before and during camps
- Managing all marketing and branding related to the camp programme
- Delivering all camps as the Camp Director
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Ensuring quality standards are met
- Auditing the delivery of our camps by other staff
- Reflecting on experiences and continually improving the programme
- Outdoor Adventure Parties
- Improving the efficiency and consistency of the delivery of our party programme
- Designing new styles of party to sell
- Managing all marketing and branding related to the party programme
- Directly delivering parties as the main party host
- Ensuring parties are well equipped and supplies are organised and in place
- Training and development of the party team
- Reflecting on experiences and continually improving the programme

**Person Specification**

We're looking for someone talented, passionate, and committed to help us to achieve our goals. You will be:

- A high-energy individual, active and have the endurance to work outdoors with significant experience in a paid role working outdoors.
- Passionate about working with children and nature and experience working in this field.
- Experience in customer service, project management, and service improvement.
- Able to manage programmes, and people, with experience in managing a small team and training and development.
- You will have experience in a role as an educator. You may have been a teacher of outdoor education or physical education. You will need to be able to manage children and bring a wealth of your own ideas to our programmes.
- You will be able to work independently, and be an excellent team player - this role requires an excellent all rounder able to get the job done.
- You will be able to manage your own schedule to ensure that there are enough staff to deliver our camps and our party programmes. This will mean regular work at weekends, approximately one half or full day per weekend, and working most of our camps which occur during both the Singapore and international school holidays.
- Overall you will need exceptional organisational skills.

- You will be degree educated in a relevant field - relevant fields include education related, environmental education, outdoor related fields.

- Management, training, programme management qualifications
- Outdoor or environmental education qualifications such as a diploma in Forest School Leadership
