Our client, a boutique bank, is seeking a skilled and motivated Relationship Managers to join their Commercial Banking/ Corporate banking group.
**COMMERCIAL BANKING**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain relationships with corporate banking customers for trade finance and transaction banking requirements.
- Increase wallet share with existing clients and source new clients aligned with the bank's strategy.
- Obtain approvals for trade transactions, commodities, products, or deviations as per branch procedures.
- Resolve queries from internal processing teams (Trade Services, Operations, Compliance).
- Short-Term Loans & Remittances
- Raise approvals for Short Term Loans (STL), Working Capital Demand Loans (WCDL), and remittances.
- Address queries from internal processing teams.
- Bank Onboarding & Alerts
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for bank onboarding or re-onboarding processes.
- Liaise with Compliance and Operations to resolve legacy alerts and obtain necessary approvals.
- Process Improvement & Reporting
- Drive process enhancements in trade procedures and related operations.
- Compile and manage transaction data and ad hoc MIS reporting.
**Qualifications & Skills Required**
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant banking experience.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of trade finance, STL, WCDL, and related procedures.
**CORPORATE BANKING**
**Responsibilities**:
- Reaching out to prospective customers in MNC segment, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Funds, FDI/ FPI segment which have presence in ASEAN regions and with strong business linkages to India
- Originating and onboarding (with complete KYC) new corporate customers and developing and maintaining good relationships with the customers
- Understanding customer requirements and providing banking solutions including but not limited to investment flow, trade flows, other transactional banking requirements
- Preparing credit proposals, coordinating with Risk department for approvals and undertaking credit monitoring & asset reviews of the portfolio
- Maintaining existing relationships with corporate clients
- Meeting business numbers across products and business verticals
- Executing transactions in a timely and efficient manner in line with customer expectations
- Maintaining credit files and ensuring safe custody of all documents
- Manage a team of Relationship Manager(s) and/ or Customer Service Manager(s) if required and as deemed fit by the management
- Prepare data, MIS presentations as required by the management
- Any other relevant task assigned by the Reporting Manager
**Job requirements**:
- Strong understanding and acumen of corporate banking business with 4+ years of relevant banking experience in relationship management
- Understanding of financial statements to prepare credit proposals
