**Your field of responsibility**

We are looking for a senior Vice-President with deep Conflicts and Market Conduct expertise to join the Wealth Management (WM) Conflicts and Market Conduct Business Risk & Process Solutions (BRPS) team and lead the definition and implementation of a best-practice to manage risk and to own the first line of defense framework.

As a key member of the team, you will be the 1LoD owner for this risk/ process theme for the WM division with the ambition to own the divisional governance, identify and monitor related risks, lead the definition and implementation of adequate control landscapes, own the Target Operating Model and be the risk advisor for Front Office.

You will work closely and collaborate with colleagues in the BRPS team, FLDS, respective BA COOs and other partners (incl. Compliance) to push the Conflict of Interests and Market Conduct agenda forward with sound mentorship and effective oversight.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintain Divisional and APAC Governance and Oversight for Conflict of Interests and Market Conduct matters
- Define the Divisional Conflict of Interests and Market Conduct framework and standards in line with the Credit Suisse Global framework, policies and (global minimum) standards as well as local regulatory requirements
- In collaboration with relevant process and control owners, design and implement Conflict of Interest and Market Conduct processes and controls in line with the Divisional Conflict of Interests and Market Conduct framework and standards, including risk appetite
- Optimize operational efficiency and risk mitigation effectiveness in the design of processes and controls by demonstrating and deploying new and existing technologies
- Monitor the risk, control and process environment for Conflict of Interests and Market Conduct risks (including KRI/ K-P-Is, incidents, e-cases, MICOS) to ensure a robust risk, control and process landscape
- Maintain the Divisional Conflicts register including reviewing and challenging controls, ensuring adequate risk mitigation and coordinating the annual review process
- Ensure alignment of Conflict of Interests and Market Conduct processes and controls across BAs and verticals
- Serves as point of escalation for Conflict of Interests and Market Conduct matters and facilitate the issue resolution and further escalation as the need arises
- Promote and improve the risk and control culture front-to-back, amongst all relevant partners
- Provide industry intelligence and be aware of industry practice. Maintain the Target Operating Model and take ownership of the required changes
- Ensure consistent Front Office engagement using the feedback as a source of input for the required changes to achieve the required level of compliance in a Front Office friendly manner
- Build relationships with key internal and external partners. Effectively drive accountability across functions
- Handle key partners and local / regional management relationships as well as serve as an advisor and sparring partner to local, regional and divisional management
- You will report to the Head of Conflicts and Market Conduct BRPS.

**Your skills and experience**

To excel in this role, you should possess below:

- University degree or equivalent education
- At least 12 years of validated experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management with particular focus on Conflicts of Interest and Market Conduct
- Hands-on experience and accountability in PB / WM
- Strong risk and control approach and can-do attitude
- Experience in handling change initiatives and projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, particularly in the ability to liaise with senior Front Office as well as other key partners
- Ability to engage, collaborate with and influence a broad partner group that include business leaders, compliance and technology
- Strong client and problem-solving experience
- Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time
- High level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards in fast-paced environment.
