**Department Summary**

Head of Project Management manages projects from kick-off to delivery on time, on budget, and on brief. Head of Project Management is everyone's go-to place for the project. Clients and internal team members rely on you for everything they need to know about a project; what to expect, what to do next, and where they need to be. Equally as important is the commercial value of what the department delivers; both top line revenue and the profit that the work is delivering.
You will have a fascination in all things digital. You want to know how things work and you are always on the look-out for new tools, services and ways of doing things.

**Role Summary**

The Head of Project Management is responsible for setting strategic direction for delivery management, defining and implementing standards and processes, managing the project team resources across a broad portfolio of accounts, and successfully implementing recovery for project crisis situations. You will have a proven ability to successfully deliver the largest projects/programmes You have strong consulting skills and you build strong relationships with both clients and all parts of the business agency to define viable approaches/methodologies in line with relevant industry standards and best practices. You will represent the delivery team within the business and ensure their views are made clear to the executive management team. You will ensure the individuals within project management are aligned and function as a team.
Attitude is every bit as important as skills and experience. You will bring an energy and passion to the role that inspires those in the department and within the wider agency. You need to be a fantastic communicator both internally and with clients and other stakeholders.
The Adnovum offering has broadened in recent years and the team needs to also broaden its skill sets around delivery in line with this. A re-organisation and skill set gap analysis is being undertaken as well as a large project around how we work in a more nimble way will require this new leader to implement and continue to iterate moving forward. A broad range of delivery skills is necessary to understand what will be required and how to move this forward within the business.

**Responsibilities**
- Day to day management of the delivery team
- Represent Delivery Team at the Client Steering Committee Meetings
- Review and help develop high value and/or high risk proposals, scopes and plans to ensure their viability
- Support the new business team to help make the best of new business opportunities
- Represent delivery at a management level including at regular assessment meetings
- Define responsibilities, set direction and allocate departmental tasks with the portfolio programme directors and the wider team
- Seek to maximise revenue and margin across multiple projects/accounts through project delivery (profit margin)
- Hold responsibility for the quality of the project deliverables and communications across delivery
- Collate project details / financial, from all project manager and present it to Leadership Team / MD
- Conduct timely, fair and accurate project reviews for direct reports, using the standard templates, where appropriate
- Explain Adnovum business focus, targets and guidelines, and provide clarity about the implications of these for your team and the individuals within it
- Keep teams and individuals updated on Adnovum performance against our goals. Understand and communicate what it means
- Draw on client experiences and external trends to advise others on how to best meet our clients' current and future needs
- Demonstrate understanding of key business drivers for potential clients Understand how Adnovum services can add value, tailoring business strategies and solutions accordingly
- Proactively recognise new business opportunities. Develop them and help us to win them
- Staff up-skilling plan to support the business directions on product and services
- People Management: mentoring and coaching subordinates and peers; having conversations on people's career aspiration and aligning it to the career progression; responsible for appraisal and feedback

**What we are looking for**:

- Extensive experience managing projects for large and medium size clients, including projects in a web/digital consulting environment
- Demonstrable experience managing a large team of project managers, project architects and other delivery specialists
- Multiple examples of managing pre-sales and technology projects
- Experience developing project plans using MS Project, PRINCE 2 Waterfall, and/or Agile and hybrid project methodologies
- Evidence of management of project teams of 20 people or more to successful completion
- Managed projects with consulting revenue of SGD10M+
- Top class communication skills including strong presentation skills
- Managed relationships at a senior level within large corporations
