- Works independently, receiving direction from manager and/or higher level employee(s)

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK**

1. Compile and maintain records such as time, date, type, quantity, quality, source and destination of water samples collected from customers.

2. Perform water analysis in the laboratory for both internal and external customers and generate the resultant water analysis report.

3. Evaluate water analysis results CC to help determine root cause of customer’s complaints and provide recommendation to help resolve product / process issues.

4. Procure, exercise and maintain safe and secure inventory control and storage of chemicals, apparatus and analytical equipment in the laboratory.

5. Conduct bench and pilot scale treatability test or evaluation product performance.

6. Responsible to maintain lab and surrounding areas in a safe and good operating condition in accordance to factory regulations and environmental standards.

7. Support company’s ISO audit by providing proper documentation of the records, reports, and SOPs.

8. Preparation of chemicals for product sales

9. Assist in development of water and wastewater treatment solutions

10. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities i.e. 5S and LEAN 101 and Emergency Response Operation including fire drills.
- Relevant Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Chemistry Degree / Diploma
- specialized skill training/experience/certification for laboratory operation is preferred
- 2 - 3 years of successfully demonstrated experience in the area of responsibility
- Above requirement plus specialized skill training/certification
- Geographic Regions Supported: South East Asia
- Knowledge of water quality analysis such as TSS, TDS, COD, Turbidity, TOC, Ion Chromatography et.; knowledge of chemical handling and water treatment process; Knowledge of EHS requirements in the use storage of different types of materials and chemicals including hazardous chemicals in water treatment.
- Above requirement plus communication and basic computer skills. Interact with others requiring social skills, a straight forward exchange of information and the ability to understand and influence using data and logic.
