Singapore COLCHESTER GLOBAL INVESTORS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Full time

Colchester Global Investors is currently looking for a Junior Investment Officer to join their Investment Team in Singapore. In this role you will oversee client portfolios and contribute to the investment process globally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fundamental investment research, encompassing macro sovereign balance sheet analysis, ongoing country monitoring and debt sustainability analysis.
- Coverage of allocated countries undertaking country research visits and maintaining country research reports.
- Ongoing assessment and forecasting of inflation.
- Portfolio optimisation, construction and implementation.
- Ongoing portfolio maintenance and review, involving traditional portfolio management, monitoring of portfolio’s and ensuring allocations, exposures and risk is correct.
- Research on the continued design and development of Colchester’s investment management strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of client review material and contribute to Colchester’s marketing efforts.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics and CFA Charterholder and/or other investment qualification essential.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an investment officer or investment risk focused role with practical portfolio management experience gained in an asset management environment across segregated mandates and fund vehicles.
- Good knowledge of fixed income and currency markets.
- Must have strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Programming skills in an OO or functional paradigm such as Java, C++, Python or C# strongly preferred.
- Data visualisation skills preferred.
- Collaborative approach, able to work across borders and cultures with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise shifting workloads in a rapidly changing environment.
