**Overview**

The Community Psychology Hub’s (CPH) researchers specialise in policy, assessment and intervention research for people with diverse needs (disabilities/vulnerabilities) using implementation, evaluation, measurement, and data sciences.

Introduced in 2021, The Inclusive Support Program (InSP) caters to children with developmental needs aged three to six who require medium levels of early intervention support. By integrating both early childhood education and early intervention in a preschool setting for these children, the InSP seeks to provide a more inclusive learning experience for both typically developing children and children with developmental needs.

As a Research Officer in the InSP Pilot Evaluation Study team within CPH, you will be working closely with your supervisor and a team of researchers in conducting the various research activities involved in the project.

**Responsibilities**

1. Participate in the entire research cycle of the InSP Evaluation Study
- Conduct literature review
- Plan and implement measures to investigate the research questions
- Data collection
- Perform behavioural and cognitive assessments for children
- Administer online surveys to parents and educators
- Observe preschool classrooms
- Lead focus group discussions with educators.
- Data management, analyses, interpretations and explanations, etc.

2. Translate project results to policies/programmes
- Prepare and present written reports or presentations to funders and stakeholders

3. Provide and share research training & consultancy internally and externally
- Share learning from attending statistics/research courses
- Engage in peer support and knowledge sharing to other team members

4. Uplift professional practice in psychology
- Support SSA’s mental health public education and community outreach
- Provide consultation to other allied health professionals

5. Other responsibilities
- Attend CPH meetings and events when necessary
- Prepare and submit reports or other deliverables as required promptly
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer/Leadership

6. Professional development
- Attend CPH/SSA endorsed training/workshops/seminars so as to develop relevant knowledge and skills

**Requirements**:
1. Educational qualifications
- A recognised Bachelor-Honours in Psychology or Statistics

2. Knowledge and experience
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in carrying out research projects
- Familiarity in implementation, evaluation, measurement, and data sciences
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (e.g., Advanced Excel) and statistical programmes (e.g., SPSS, R)
- (Advantage) Experience with online survey administration platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, FormSG) will be an advantage

3. Other qualities
- Strong interest in community and disability research
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong administration, planning, time-management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Able to problem-solve and provide creative/innovative solutions
- Able to work quickly under pressure and tight timelines
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team
- Able to work with diverse stakeholders and funders
