Business Analyst

VMLY&R is seeking a top talent business analyst (BA) to join our team in Singapore (full-time and contract positions available). The role to is ensure alignment of the requirements among the client stakeholders and the project team. The main tasks will include performing detailed business and technical requirements analysis, documentation of said requirements, translating requirements into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, and working with the QA team to write the test cases. The Business Analyst will be working closely with the client, our technology team, and our QA team. The BAs will be reporting to our scrum masters/project managers.

**Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the clients to gather and document business and technical requirements
- Work closely with the Technology Team to translate business and technical requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Create and maintain the Product Backlog
- Write documentation required by the project (e.g., Business Requirements Documentation, Functional Specifications Document, Technical Specifications Document, etc.)
- Acts as and/or works with the client’s Product Owner to prioritize items in the Product / Sprint Backlog
- Works with the Technology Team in estimation and sprint planning
- Work closely with Scrum Master / Project Manager to make sure sprint deliverables are on track, and all blockers are addressed
- Monitors the team’s velocity in sprints

**Required experience**
- Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst
- Experience as a BA in a large-scale / multi-site technology project (e.g., multi-site AEM Migration or similar)
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (SDLC, Agile & Waterfall) and tools such as (Jira, Confluence & Smartsheet, etc.)
- Ability to communicate with all stakeholders
- Ability to write clear and concise user stories to build up product backlog for development based on designs provided and acceptance criteria agreed upon
- Excellent Presentation skills
- Ability to conduct demos and training for the client stakeholders/users
- Provide support to client team during user acceptance testing
- Team-player works closely with teammates in understanding goals and developing best practices for the team’s overall success.
- Has strong knowledge of Scrum Methodology, as well as how Sprints are run
