**1. JOB PURPOSE**
Create and refine training programmes and materials that align with the needs and goals of the organisation and target audience. This involves the analysing the needs and objectives, researching and selecting the appropriate instructional strategies and technologies, developing the learning materials, implementing training programmes and evaluate training solutions. Scope of work may also include curation of appropriate training programmes based on needs and goals of organisation or target audience.
**2. **MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Programme Design**: integrate adult learning pedagogies and learning technologies such as e-learning and simulation systems to enhance training effectiveness and establish both long-term and short-term goals for the programme development effort.
- **Conducting Learning Needs Analysis: i**dentify the needs of the target audience and determine the goals and objectives of the training and/or learning intervention required.
- **Developing Course Materials**: creates course materials such as lesson plans, handouts, and assessments; implement pilot run for new or updated programmes, including Train-the-Trainer briefings.
- **Incorporating Learning Technologies**: ensure that the programme integrates the latest technological tools and resources to enhance the learning experience.
- **Evaluating Content**: evaluate materials, and ensure that the content is accurate, up-to-date, and appropriate for the target audience.
- **Maintaining and Updating Programmes**: review and update programmes regularly to ensure that it remains relevant and effective.
- **Providing Training and Support**: provide training and support to trainers, and other users of the programmes. May include facilitating in-house programmes, depending on level of expertise of job holder
- **Conducting Quality Assurance**: ensure that the programme meets the highest quality standards and is aligned with P&OD policies and standards.
- **Programme Management**: oversees assigned training programme(s) and ensure smooth conduct of training, in close partnership with P&OD Programme Administration team.
**3. JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Education / Training / Experience_
- Minimum a Bachelor degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of training & development, adult learning, and education, or other relevant fields.
- Facilitation of adult learning/training will be advantageous for this job role
- Attributes _
- Programme design, development and evaluation skills, with experience in adult learning
- Possess strong project management skills, and the ability to manage and deliver project assignments within deadlines.
- Excellent presentation skills, including a strong command of English language.
