Project Quotation Specialist

- **About the role**:_

We are searching for a project quotation specialist to sit within the costing team. This role primarily determines and provides cost details for Request for Quotation (RFQs) or expanded project work with a focus on achieving the best possible rates available based on project requirements and within necessary timelines. This role engages with internal and external business partners to clarify client requirements and Request for Quotation (RFQ) specifications. The Project Quotation Specialist is responsible for ensuring that internal documentation, processes, and systems are updated timely and accurately.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Engage in vendor operations including pricing discussions and negotiations.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality and financial performance for the assigned geography.
- Execute vendor management strategy for the assigned geography, providing measurable impact and insights.
- Act as liaison with third party vendors to maintain positive business relationships and monitor supplier performance.
- Execute all assigned quality, cost optimization, and productivity improvement programs.
- Coordinate within Operations and with Commercial and Product for any vendor escalations within the assigned geography.
- Ensure all work performed meets product and business standards and SLAs (service level agreements).
- **Qualifications**:_
- Strong communication skills including command of English (both verbal and written).
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Keen eye for details on project quote specifications.
- Ability to negotiate costs and terms with vendors and stakeholders.
- Able to work with a wide variety of people and establish/maintain successful business relationships.
- Experience working with third party vendors and relationship management a plus.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
