**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Position Purpose**
- The Asian LNG Origination team is responsible for finding, executing and managing short/mid-term LNG deals mainly in Asia Pacific region for i) securing the stable LNG supply for JERA, ii) optimizing the shareholders’ LNG trade flows, and iii) generating P&L for JERAGM’s own trading business
- The individual will manage an external client base mainly in Asia Pacific region to originate short/mid-tern LNG deals by leveraging JERA’s extensive experience and network
- The individual will coordinate closely with the Structured LNG Trading team, the LNG Trading (Pacific) team, the LNG Trading (Atlantic) team, the Financial Trading team, and other JERAGM functions, fostering a collaborative and open working environment. In addition the individual will coordinate closely with LNG teams in JERA for better understanding on LNG supply-demand situation in JERA and their LNG business activities

**Main Responsibilities**
- To manage the origination, execution and management of short/mid-term LNG deals to grow LNG portfolio and generate P&L with third parties and JERAGM’s shareholders
- To understand the importance of stable LNG supply for JERA
- To recognize risk mandate and properly manage its own risk position
- To ensure close alignment with other LNG teams in JERAGM and JERA
- To maximise LNG counterparty coverage and growth of JERAGM’s market footprint, mainly focusing on Asia Pacific region
- To maintain and enhance JERAGM's reputation as a reliable and reputable business partner with external counterparties, actively promoting the JERAGM brand in the LNG market
- To continually acquire and improve JERAGM’s LNG and gas market knowledge and promote the effective sharing of information across the LNG teams of JERAGM
- To function as team-player and foster a collaborative and open working environment across the LNG business and other functions of JERAGM

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Key Qualifications and Experience**
- Extensive knowledge and experience of LNG commercial activities
- Fluent speaking capability of Japanese and business experience with Japanese companies for closely communicating with JERA
- Deep understanding, insight and human network on JERA’s LNG business for pursuing optimisation activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
