**Responsibilities**:
**Deal Structuring & Execution**:

- Provide execution support to all transactions booked in Singapore by taking ownership of the loan booking process from end-to-end including coordinating with clients, internal and external parties.
- Work with product partners, control functions, middle office and overseas branches to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Proactively monitor accounts under covearge and highlight document deficiencies or other risk issues.
- Engage and co-ordinate with external Legal Firms, Legal & Compliance department of SMBC, Documentation units and Credit Middle Office on loan and ISDA documentation.
- Help the Head of Deal Structuring & Execution, where needed, with adhoc requirements.

**Business Planning, and Strategy**:

- Supporting co-Head of APAC on business planning & strategy and performance management for the region.
- Assist with GFIG Country Strategy review.
- Preparing presentations for management on client and buisness strategy/performance.
- Other business related functions and administrative duties including perparation of data/information for business reporting to GFIG and Asia Pacific Department Management.

**Job Requirements**
- Deep understanding of deal structures,banking products and financial statements
- Ability to provide comprehensive credit analysis on a wide range of financial institutions and deal structures.
- Good understanding of legal documents in APLMA format and familiarity with legal/compliance issues related to FI-lending in the APAC region.
- Strong analytical skills and interest in strategy formulation.
- Ability to work on PowerPoint and Excel for handling data and preparing presentation.
