Executive - Volunteer Management

**Duties and responsibilities**
**1. Volunteer Recruitment**
a. Engage volunteers, including those from partner churches, other community volunteer groups, schools, companies fulfilling corporate social responsibilities etc. to
i. Plan, organize and run centre-based active-ageing programmes and interest groups
ii. Participate in home-based Befriending service
iii. Ad-hoc festive events
**2. Volunteer Training and Development**
a. Arrange and conduct training together with a team of volunteer trainers for volunteers in Communication skills, dementia awareness, chronic disease knowledge etc
b. Organise monthly meetings for volunteers to peer sharing and learning (Caregivers Club)
c. Administration of the time-banking scheme
**3. Monitor the work of Befriending**
a. Coordinate outreach efforts with volunteers/volunteer groups to identify socially isolated seniors
b. Conduct baseline and review assessments of seniors requiring befriending
c. Facilitate matching of befriender-befriendees
d. Monitor the effectiveness of befriending through regular reports from befriender and feedback surveys from befriendees
e. Onward referrals to case management executive for service linkage and care coordination if necessary
**4. Administration - assist the Manager to**
a. Design, implement activities and wellness programmes that focuses on building elderly’s self-help capacity including
i. On-site active ageing programmes
ii. Organising and participation in community events and outings
b. Ensure compliance to Finance and Human Resource Policies, maintaining documentation for audits facilitated by Corporate Services
c. Prepare data for submission to MOH and AIC which includes but not limited to
i. Register of all volunteers, befriendees and home visits records
ii. Register of Information and Referrals done for befriendees iii. Client satisfaction surveys
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $2,850.00 - $3,700.00 per month
