- Job descriptionThe Financial Planning & Analysis Manager - APAC will be responsible for providing dedicated analytical, financial, and commercial support to our Professional Search line of business.

Reporting to the Finance Director, APAC - Financial Planning & Analysis and have regular interaction with members of the Regional Finance team along with the Managing Director, Executive Search & Professional Search - APAC.

Key responsibilities include:

- ** Business Management / Operations Support - **Builds relationships with Business and Financial regional and global colleagues, provide analysis support for regional meetings / Enterprise projects, and work with other Finance stakeholders across the organization to drive and manage the growth of the Professional Search (PS) / Interim business.
- ** Management Reporting - **Regular new business and revenue management and update of quarterly outlook for Corporate FP&A, oversee the preparation of monthly financial performance reports and monthly operating reviews, review and analyse monthly actual vs. budget / forecasted results and variances, and provide analytical support to facilitate understanding the financial results of their businesses across APAC.
- ** Annual Operating Plan / Revenue, Expense and Cashflow Forecasts - **manage the Annual Operating Plan process, manage the monthly revenue and expense forecast process, prepare the weekly Revenue and New Business forecast.
- ** FP&A Centre Of Expertise - **Identify efficiency improvements in APAC offices’ management information, support APAC finance business leaders in their management information needs, and other Regional Finance projects, as needs arise.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- CA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Minimum 10 -12 years of working experience, with at least 3 years’ experience in one of the Big Four accounting firms, followed by a FP&A position with a US MNC.
- Good grasp of statutory, legal, accounting and taxation requirements
- Able to explain financial perspectives and directions clearly and meaningfully.
- Strong analytical skills and an inquiring mind
- Good people management and interaction skills with the ability to interact with peers and senior finance and business managers.
- Proactive and keen to learn the business.
- Creative thinking
- A strong working knowledge of EXCEL is essential. Preference will be given to those who has worked with business intelligence and data mining tools.
- Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
