1. Role Description:
Personnel/Human resource manager plans designs and implements processes related to the human capital of companies. He/she develops programs for recruiting interviewing and selecting employees based on the profiles and skills required in the company. He/she manages compensation and development programs for the companys employees comprising trainings skill assessments and yearly evaluations promotion expatriate programs and general assurances of the well-being of the employees in the workplace.
2. Specific Responsibilities:
The HR Manager should have a strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and practices related to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
The HR Manager should be proficient in identifying training needs, designing and delivering training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. They should ensure that staff members receive appropriate training to enhance their skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
The HR Manager should be skilled in implementing performance management systems to set performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching to improve employee performance. They should also handle disciplinary actions, if necessary, in a fair and consistent manner.
The HR Manager should have knowledge of compensation and benefits structures specific to the child care and pre-school industry. They should be able to design and administer competitive compensation packages and manage employee benefits programs.
Proficiency in HR information systems is essential for maintaining accurate employee records, generating reports, and streamlining HR processes. The HR Manager should be able to leverage technology to enhance efficiency and data management.
The HR Manager should have a thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations related to child care services and pre-schools. They should ensure compliance with all legal requirements and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and inclusive environment for children and staff.
