**About the Company**:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Procurement Assistant** to join our client’s Electrical Contract Company. The Procurement Assistant will be responsible for supporting the procurement team in purchasing materials and services for all electrical projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers for various electrical projects.
- Obtain quotes from suppliers and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
- Create purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Manage and maintain procurement records and documentation.
- Assist in vendor management, including evaluating supplier performance and addressing any issues.
- Support procurement team in inventory management, including tracking inventory levels and coordinating with project managers to ensure appropriate stock levels.
- Assist in maintaining and updating procurement policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of procurement procedures and best practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the electrical/construction industry a plus.

**Other Information**:

- Office located at Woodlands Industrial Park E1
- 5.5 day work week
- Salary $2500-$3000
