About GLOBALFOUNDRIES:
Summary of Role:
Establish accurate & up-to-date database of tool indices for input to the capacity model & working closely with Modules, Mfg & related parties to drive for capacity improvement, to ensure tools are performing & gaps are closed. To support any new capacity-related requirements from changing customer demands.

Essential Responsibilities include:

- Responsible for the IE needs of a specific process module. Interface with other engineering disciplines and operations for the module.
- Responsible for establishing/maintaining production tool capacity models.
- Accountable for accuracy of the tool inputs used for CWCM capacity modelling.
- Monitor production tool performance capabilities and work closely with tool owner and manufacturing performance improvement plans.
- Ensure execution of tool CIPS to support committed short-term & long-term capacity expansion plans. Communicate productivity requirements to Operations and drive commitments for closure.
- Drive & report tool availability & UPH gap closure to commitments on a timely manner.
- Understand & initiate work process improvements / best practices across the Module IE / IE organization.
- Ensure new tool installation & qualification meets the required timeline.
- Ensure close-loop for capacity assessment of Change Request.
- Maintain proper & updated spec documentation & audit handling.

Other Responsibilities:

- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor or Masters in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Science
- Other Engineering discipline will also be considered.
- With Semiconductor IE relevant experience will be in advantage.
- Able to drive for capacity modeling improvement, tool rate efficiency and understand capacity/cycle time trade-offs is advantageous
- Good communication skills and adaptable to changes
- Ability to work in a team environment and across various functions
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- High proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)
