**Position Overview**

The Associate - Corporate Finance, plays a pivotal role in executing financial advisory transactions, contributing to the origination of new opportunities, and facilitating various business activities. These transactions primarily involve debt and equity raising, debt restructuring, and M&A within the transportation sector.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research.
- Assist in the execution of debt raising and M&A advisory transactions, including performing financial analysis and firm valuation, managing the due diligence process, and preparing meeting materials.
- Create and/or work with complex financial models which support the analysis of companies. This will frequently require creating detailed proforma models.
- Develop transaction marketing materials, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations.
- Build relationships and maintain contact with established and prospective clients and professional advisors. Fulfill other duties as required to support Transport Capital’s group objectives.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related business discipline

**Experience**
- Proficiency in MS Office and Financial Modeling is essential for this role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks and projects.
