AltSchool International is an early intervention centre in River Valley that blends education and therapy in a warm, play-responsive setting. We work with preschool-aged children (3-8 years old) with developmental delays or neurodivergent profiles, including autism, ADHD, and speech/language challenges. Our mission is to nurture each child’s potential by creating an inclusive environment that supports learning, development, and school readiness.

**Role Description**
This is an on-site part-time/internship role for a Teaching Assistant at AltSchool International in Singapore. The Teaching Assistant will support teachers and therapists in daily classroom activities and therapy sessions, assist with lesson and material preparation, and provide one-on-one or small-group support to children. The role also includes helping to manage classroom routines, encouraging positive behaviour, participating in play-based and sensory learning experiences, and contributing to a calm, nurturing space that honours each child’s pace and potential.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in assisting teaching, caregiving, or working with children is an advantage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Interest or background in Early Childhood, Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related fields
- Genuine passion for supporting children with developmental needs
- Patience, initiative, and openness to feedback
- Familiarity with Montessori, DIR Floortime, or TEACCH approaches is a plus, but not essential

**Job Types**: Part-time, Internship, Student job
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $600.00 - $850.00 per month

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week
