Position Summary

The Relocation Associate supports one or more Relocation Consultant. The Relocation Associate is responsible for administrative duties, communication with SIRVA's suppliers, and other assigned duties, on all files in a Relocation Consultant's case load. The Relocation Associate has mínimal contact with clients and relocating employees, but extensive contact with service providers and internal resources. The Relocation Associate must have experience working in a fast-paced office environment and meeting deadlines associated with multiple tasks. The Relocation Associate must be able to gain an understanding of all aspects of clients' international policy and program as well as a general understanding of all international services.

Open files, research/select/place referrals with appropriate suppliers. Pro-active management of and communications to suppliers for updates and required information as necessary.

Responsible for updating system data with information provided by Relocation Consultant, clients, and directly from the assignees. This includes updating addresses, uploading important documentation, changes to client specific information, keeping notes updated in the system, etc.

Other responsibilities as necessary to support Relocation Consultant, client specific tasks and customer demands.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills
- Minimum 1 year of direct relocation experience is preferred, or at least 3 years related customer service experience
- Proficient in MS Office programs
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Must be able to manage deadlines and multi-task in a fast paced office environment

Education and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
