Investment Services Public Markets (ISPM) is an integrated investment service team that uses data and emerging technologies to provide services for public market investment activities strategically and tactically. The team is responsible for business strategy and management functions for all public market investment groups, as well as GIC’s global trade execution management, custody control and asset servicing, investment monitoring, regulatory compliance, futures and derivative clearing operations, collateral management, pricing and valuations, data solutions and services and asset rebalancing. The coverage extends across a spectrum of products such as equities, bonds, money market, foreign exchange, futures, collateralized securities and other derivatives.

**Responsibilities**
- Project lead in strategy execution and change initiatives from initiation to post-implementation, including interfacing with other functions across GIC.
- Support business strategy and infrastructure planning for Fixed Income department
- Perform other business management functions including business continuity management, resource and budget prioritization, income and expense management, and manage business performance framework.
- Manage stakeholders across investment teams to deliver on initiatives and projects on a timely basis, with considered impact on the front office especially for corporate initiatives.
- Resolve front office issues and potential roadblocks arising from execution, operational, risk and compliance considerations.
- Provide strategy execution support including setting up new strategies and portfolios, benchmarking changes, and restructuring / rebalancing of funding and portfolio
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers, handling ad hoc requests to support department and division reviews
- Produce reports and analysis to support business needs, including the building of exposure, risk and performance reports/dashboards amongst others by working closely with the Business Solutions and Analytics (BSA) team within ISPM on data and analytics requirements
- Work with other ISPM teams and relevant departments (including risk, audit, legal and compliance) to drive process and system improvements and deployments, whilst managing portfolio administration and related system accesses.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in either business, finance, engineering, technology or related field with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in the financial services or related sector.
- A strong focus on technology and data, analytics, operations, and finance.
- Good working knowledge with MS Office, and data visualization requirements and tools such as Tableau is highly preferred.
- Comfortable working with data and have a good sense of numbers. Experience with SQL, VBA, Python or basic programming skills is preferred.
- Ability to drive process and reporting improvements.
- Highly meticulous and well-organized.
- Self-starter, with strong initiative, who is hands-on and comfortable to manage multiple tasks, is confident to engage different stakeholders, and can work independently to drive for outcomes.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and is resilient to challenges.
