DESIGNATION : Backend Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Personalization Service Development
- Develop backend API that integrates with machine learning algorithm or role engine, and creative automation service to programmatically service personalized content in real time on e-commerce website and app, such as on homepage banner, swimlane, side banner and on all other digital channels (e.g. CRM, Facebook,partnered website).
- Personalization Self Service Portal Development - Develop the backend API for the self service marketing portal that allows marketing team to self service configuring personalized marketing campaigns, with features such as activating custom audience to digital channels and defining the template for personalized content
- Personalized Content Optimization Engine - Develop the feature that increase the click through or conversion rate of the personalized content, or helping with the measurement, such as A/B testing, automatic banner switch and integrating with the content monetization signals.
- Retail Media platform development - Develop backend service required for external media customers to plan, launch and optimize media campaigns on corporate media assets (e.g. TVs in store, website/app banners), such as media inventory reservation system, integration with programmatic media network and other Ad Tech integration.
- Other System Integration - Develop integration between corporate B2B CRM system and other operating systems across various business units to empower corporate sales teams to manage their sales pipeline effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical fields (or) equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in software engineering or data engineering capabilities for large and complex franchises.
- Passionate about digital marketing, knowledge or exposure in marketing technology projects around marketing automation/personalization/analytics are strong plus
- Hands-on experience in any 1 modern programming language (Java/Go preferred)
- Extensive experience of building platforms which are “horizontally scalable”, “highly available (Three 9s or higher)” and “fully automated maintenance” on top of AWS, GCP, Azure or Ali-Cloud is a strong plus
- Skills in Application architecture and design patterns
- Experience in API/micro service architecture
- Frugality is in your thought and you strongly advocate using open source technologies.
- You write Neat, Optimized, Well documented and Self-maintainable code.
- Self-motivated and proactive, willing to learn new things, deliver best solution in most tensed situation.
