You will be a team leader with technical expertise and some management experience in the Defence sector working alongside engineers, project managers, presales/sales managers. Managing daily production activities, ensuring schedules are met and production targets are achieved.

- Lead, supervise and mentor a team of engineers to manage government classified projects, as well as fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability
- Oversee inventory levels, machinery maintenance, and equipment utilization to ensure optimal production capacity
- Analyze production workflows and identify areas for improvement; implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall product quality
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, quality control, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of products
- Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality
- Prepare production reports and provide regular updates to management on performance metrics, progress, and challenges
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster innovation to maintain a competitive edge in the market

**Qualities We Value**
- At least 10 yrs of experience in production / Maintenance management role, preferably in the electro-optics or a related industry
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, maintenance concept, quality assurance, and safety standards
- Proficiency in production management software and tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Working location is in Ang Mo Kio
- Singaporeans Only
