Compliance, Operations and Solutions Executive

Workplace Revolution extends the role of Company Secretary per Section 171 of the Companies Act which is usually a single role, to add additional skills and requirements which extend and confer upon a suitable individual, additional requirements in terms of experience across FOUR additional core areas:

- **Company Director**
- **Compliance**
- **Operations**
- **Solutions**
- **Projects**

**CORE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Previous company directorship / board experience both in Singapore and overseas. Must have board level and business ownership experience, have been a company director having business dealings outside of Singapore.

**International experience is required in all five core areas:
**1. Company Director-level role **required due to compliance, confidentiality/risk and company secretary - must be able to execute contracts for and on behalf of the company

**2. Compliance **- This role is not just company secretary but compliance and risk associated with a management consulting firm that contracts with global clients, employees and subcons in other legal jurisdictions, international law and legislative frameworks, anti-corruption and anti-bribery, ESR roles, due diligence, quality assurance, continual process improvement, professional indemnity, risk management (risk register and advice to board). Ethics - Required membership of a professional ethics organisation. Legal - in particular cross-border international law, contract law, employment law.

**3. Operational **- ICT, Finance, payroll, accounting, financial reporting (fully knowledgeable for Singapore FRS, GAAP, IFRS, IBCS, liaison with external advisors, staff management. Training and ongoing professional development of WPR Staff - Develop, integrate, monitor skills for local and overseas staff, provide mentoring and ethics counselling

**4. Solutions **- knowledge and proven experience in IT systems development and technology implementation, systems development (actual development), particularly knowledge of “legacy” systems, and data transformation.

**5. Projects **- proven experience in managing projects both at a project director, project manager as well as experience in ICT implementation and non-ICT implementation and planning.

Experience in understanding WPR’s primary consulting offerings of Workplace, Workforce, Work+People, and Work+Process; knowledge of corporate real estate, capacity planning.

**OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Cultural awareness of countries in which we provide services and solutions

Have previously obtained a minimum government-level security clearance to the level of the equivalent of Secret (eg. Singapore SECRET, US. SECRET, Australia NV1, Canada CSIS SECRET), or have the ability to obtain such clearance. This requirement is required for certain Clients with whom we work.

**GENERAL COMMENTS
The role is very fluid in nature and highly variable from a time perspective (ranges from 8 to 50 hours per week. It is **not a full time permanent position requiring a dedicated number of hours per week **, however it is on an as needs basis depending on the variable needs from the rest of the WPR Team, its Clients, and its Suppliers.

As such it is suited only to a suitably qualified individual who is prepared to work on an ad-hoc, lumpy (needs based), seasonal (financial reporting for GST, monthly payroll, annual corporate tax, plus management of Suppliers for insurances, banking, accounting etc.), and unpredictable nature of work (e.g. requirement to review a Client Contract, or address a matter falling within our Ethics, Sustainability, and Compliance areas).
