Asean HR Head

The HR Head for BMX ASEAN, Integration and the ASEAN leadership team member, leads the local HRBP team, and collaborates with corporate and regional HR to continuously optimize OneHR model in ASEAN. The HR Head will translate global and country business strategy into HR strategy and organizational needs to HR solutions and plans. This role will support to develop and execute ASEAN People Strategy for short and long-term business success.
**Responsibilities**:
1) Serve as HR Integration team lead in ASEAN and be the ASPAC HR leadership team member
2) Develops HR strategy, solutions and strategic workforce plans that align to ASEAN strategy and objectives
3) Responsible for and focus on building a great organizational culture through initiating and implementing various HR programs
4) Leads, develops and engages the team in alignment with the country and global BioMerieux HR model including COEs, to ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR solutions to the leaders, managers and colleagues
5) Builds and drives a culture of compliance by ensuring adherence to the company’s Code of Conduct policy, business ethics, and employment legislation
6) Facilitates organizational diagnosis and metrics to drive organizational effectiveness through talent and organizational capabilities and culture.
7) Executes the implementation of culture strategies and initiatives
8) Builds organizational capability and people manager capability through developing people managers with talent development programs
9) Acts as a change agent by leading integration and organizational change initiatives (M&A activity, cultural integration, site restructures, consolidations, functional harmonization, etc.)
10) Builds and maintains strong relationships across the HR organization including regional, global business and corporate and regional HR.
11) Stays up to date with market business and HR trends and implements best practices with the goal of establishing strong colleague engagement and positioning the company as an employer of choice
12) Provides HR insights for business and external markets, proactively influence talent and business decisions
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
1) Able to visibly demonstrate the values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement
2) Undergraduate degree is required; a Bachelor or Masters/MBA in a related field preferred
3) Seasoned HR leader with at least 15 years’ experience, with the last 5 as a strategic HR business partner to a senior leadership team or Talent and Organization Development Leader
4) Strong organizational agility; International savvy and experience in highly matrixed organization
5) Strong business acumen with proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategy to drive successful business results
6) Able to attract, hire, engage and develop great talent and motivates others to do the same.
7) Strong team leader and team player.
8) Ability to navigate ambiguity and make tough calls when needed.
9) Comprehensive HR knowledge and exposure to the mix of HR functions in a global environment, including talent and organizational development, employee and labor relations, compensation, benefits, HROP, diversity and inclusion, and compliance
10) Exposure, knowledge or experience with Process Improvement approaches
11) A track record of positive results, ability to successfully deploy new programs and policies, and strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
12) Credibility as a trusted advisor and confidant building trust, loyalty and inspiration
13) Strong influencing skills with ability to influence with and without direct authority
14) Experience leading restructuring and transformation projects and processes in prior role
15) Must be fluent in English; verbal, written and presentation skills
