**The Role**
As a Senior 3D Artist at Deep Dive Studios, you’ll be the sculptor actualising 2D Designs into visually compelling three dimensional worlds. You’ll work hand in hand with other artists and product teams to craft and build various worlds, levels and themes. You will serve as a mentor and a guide for junior artists to reach their full potential.

**Responsibilities**
- Translate 2D designs into high-quality 3D art assets, including outdoor and indoor environments, props, and real-world production.
- Collaborate effectively with the Art Director and Lead Artists to maintain a coherent vision of the game and its assets.
- Establish benchmark and prototype levels, ensuring that all assets meet the highest standards of quality and are optimized for game performance.
- Continuously research, explore, communicate, and participate in the development of pipelines, procedures, and best practices in 3D art creation, ensuring that the team is using the latest and most efficient techniques.
- Participate in formal and informal critiques, providing effective feedback to other artists to help them develop their skills and ensure that all assets meet the company's high standards.
- Work with 2D and tech departments to understand their goals and how 3D can support them, ensuring that all assets are created with the broader game design and technical requirements in mind.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and actively seek out opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
- Conceptualize, present, and execute ideas within a schedule, actively participating in technical and artistic problem-solving to ensure that all assets are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

**Requirements**:
**Skills and Experience Required**
- 5+ years of experience in the 3D industry, with a focus on asset creation and visual effects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, or a related field is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of 3DS Max, or equivalent package.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Highly proficient in 3D modeling making use of both high and low poly techniques.
- Great knowledge of unwrapping and how to maximize the use of uv space.
- Strong technical Knowledge of scene Lighting and environment optimization.
- Knowledge of high-poly to game-res meshes, Shader manipulation, Modular construction workflow and techniques, Dynamic lighting models, Post Effects.
- Proven ability to create both stylized and realistic textures.
- Demonstrated strong proficiency in game modeling with a portfolio of relevant work from past projects.
- Experience in industry-standard software such as 3DSMax/Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Substance designer and/or other relevant software.
- Experience working within the unity game engine or Unreal is a significant plus
