As a Quality Assurance (QA) and Laboratory Audit Officer for Rice, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and safety of rice products through meticulous laboratory audits and quality assurance procedures. You will play a crucial role in upholding quality standards, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting Laboratory Audits:

- Perform regular audits of the rice processing laboratory to ensure compliance with quality control protocols and standards.
- Evaluate laboratory practices, procedures, and equipment to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Review and analyze laboratory data, including testing results and quality assurance records, to assess performance and identify trends.

2. Quality Assurance (QA) Procedures:

- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures for rice processing, including incoming raw material inspection, production processes, and finished product testing.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to QA protocols throughout the rice production process to maintain product quality and safety.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent quality deviations.

3. Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay updated on relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines governing rice production, quality, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, certifications, and industry standards, such as HACCP, ISO, and FDA regulations.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to regulatory compliance, including quality control records, certificates of analysis, and audit reports.

4. Quality Control Testing:

- Oversee quality control testing of rice samples, including physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses.
- Interpret testing results and assess product quality based on established specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with external laboratories for specialized testing and validation of analytical methods.

5. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction in rice production and quality assurance practices.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformances, quality deviations, and customer complaints.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality excellence.
