Your role

Interfood is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in the role of Quality Assurance Supervisor. This role will be based in our Singapore office (Regional HQ) and includes a broad responsibility on QA across Asia Pacific. As a QA Supervisor you play a crucial role in both the QA Process and QA Product teams, directly reporting to the Global QA Director. Topics such as process management, supplier risk-management, nonconformances, and QMS are not unknown territory for you. Ultimately, you are responsible for overseeing food and feed safety, keeping QMS components up to date, undertaking survey or analytical service activities, and maintaining a good relationship on QA with our international network of suppliers and customers.

**As your new QA Supervisor you**:
Set up KPIs, progress meetings, and appraisals for your team. You handle HR-related matters within the team.
Collaborate with the Global Sustainability Director and Global QA Director for reporting on sustainability.
Support Technical Account Management in cooperation with the R&D team of our APAC Hub.
Lead external audits for Logistics Service Providers and Dairy Manufacturing Producers.
Provide training and deliver training materials. You engage in project management in cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders.
Optimize and manage Business Plans.
Contribute to budgeting and the development and implementation of a strategic plan and its initiatives.
Optimize communication between the QA, Trade (support), SCM, Logistics and Finance departments.
**Profile**:
Completed degree in Food Science, Microbiology or related tertiary education. Experience in the dairy industry is advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years work experience, with management experience being a plus.
**Languages**: English and preferably 1 other language (especially Chinese), both verbal and written.
Proficiency in automated systems (Office 365 and ERP systems).
Lean/Six Sigma and/or microbiology background is an advantage.
Perfect communication and social skills, confident in external stakeholder relationship management.
Empathetic, with the ability to make connections.
Commercially minded and have the ability to set priorities independently.
Organizational talent, accurate, with an open and a solutions and service-oriented mindset.
