Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC’s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC’s clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an **Investment Operations - Senior Manager.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- The role holder will be in charge of design and Implementation of the supporting and operating model for new Alternatives investment capability managed by Asset Management Singapore
- Management of fund Operations and investment Operations, with focus on Real Estate and Real Assets investment capability under close collaboration with investment team, other support functions and offshore teams to deliver operations services
- 1LOD controls of AMSG for the operational processes of Investment Operations
- Be Subject Matter of Expect across Investment Operations team, Alternatives, on these capabilities and can therefore advise and support the operating model of these capabilities to other locations

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Degree qualification, preferably in finance
- Experience in alternatives investments products and experience in real estate or other alternatives are distinct advantages
- Exposure to working knowledge of mandates, UCITS and other local regulations like Hong Kong and Singapore, cross borders taxations and capital structure
- Strong experience managing operational risk in a changing environment
- Must show ability to communicate clearly on various technical issues and to maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients, investors and colleagues
- Must possess effective multi-tasking, project management, organisational and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work to deadlines in an efficient and accurate manner
- Experience dealing with outsourced service providers
- Commercially focus and client-centric
- Ability to understand and consolidate diverse and complex business information to translate into actions and propose operational solutions
- Demonstrate collaborative and supportive working relationship with the other business departments and functions
