Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle procurement activities including forecasting, planning, sourcing, contract negotiation, monitoring and expediting delivery schedule
- Invitation of quotation, computation for comparison.
- Select and evaluate appropriate suppliers
- Request and review of quotes and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
- Coordinate with Clients and suppliers on the processes and procedures related to on timely delivery of materials
- Consolidate purchase orders across different departments for optimal purchase quantities and schedules, issue purchase orders for local and overseas purchases as well as schedule shipments and logistic arrangements in the most efficient manner
- Perform inventory cycle counts, month-end reconciliation and validate variances
- Updating approved vendor list and movement of the inventory list
- Preparation of cost analysis sheet
- Maintain and update purchasing documents/ records and approve external provider list
- Maintain proper documents and filing for all tenders

**Requirements**:

- Diploma / Degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
- Preferably with 2 years working of working experience in the building construction industry
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Proficient in MS Office
- Detailed and strong negotiation skills with the ability to multi-task
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
