Assistant Manager, Medical Records

To supervise the day-to-day operations of the Medical Records Office and also responsible for the performance of the team (to meet department KPI).
**Key accountabilities**:
- To maintain strict confidentiality of all patient medical information, and to ensure that all disclosure of information is in accordance with established policies and procedures and PDPC Act.
- To provide timely and accurate statistical data for the Hospital and other appropriate regulatory bodies, e.g. Ministry of Health.
- To review regularly policies and procedures to assure relevancy and improve efficiency.
- To maintain effective systems for filing, maintenance and prompt retrieval of patient medical records.
- To ensure compliance in meeting department indicators and maintaining department budget
- To assist in providing orientation and continual education/ training to staff in patient data handling as well as communications on release of medical information.
- To be involved in vendor management in the scanning and storage of inpatient medical records
- To work with internal stake holders in streamlining processes and continual improvementOther duties as and when required
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Degree holder preferred with minimum 6 years of working experience
- Good leadership skills with at least 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience
- Meticulous
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Adaptable to changes in technology with ease
- Team player who embraces continuous improvement and innovates
