**What the role is**What you will be working on**
- Assist the Team Lead in the design, development, and implementation of transformation initiatives, focusing on process reengineering, automation, and digitalisation to improve operational efficiency. - Engage stakeholders across various departments to understand existing processes, identify pain points, and collect detailed requirements for transformation projects. - Ensure thorough documentation of process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to facilitate effective change management and knowledge transfer. - Regularly review and update documentation to reflect any changes or improvements in processes and systems. - Explore and evaluate emerging tools and technologies, such as GenAI, to develop innovative solutions that support the organization's transformation goals. - Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to ensure that technological solutions are aligned with MOT’s infrastructure and strategic direction. - Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes. - Communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff to ensure buy-in and support for transformation initiatives.

**What we are looking for**
- Tertiary qualification in IT /Accounting or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage. - Knowledge of Government budgeting will be an advantage. - Strong leadership qualities and proven track record of system delivery. - A self-starter who can work independently and be a team player as well - Proven ability to effectively multitask and manage heavy workload independently - Strong written and communication skills - Meticulous attention to details is necessary - Possesses good interpersonal skills and is service-oriented

**About**Ministry of Transport**
- The Mission of Ministry of Transport is to develop Singapore's land, sea and air transport sectors so as to enhance our economic competitiveness and quality of life in a knowledge-based economy. MOT oversees the development and regulation of the following sectors: - Civil Aviation and Air Transport - Maritime and Ports - Land Transport Besides providing an efficient and cost-effective transportation in Singapore, it also strives to make Singapore an international civil aviation and maritime centre for the region. The ministry sets the strategic and policy direction while operations and regulatory works are carried out by the statutory boards under its charge. There are four statutory boards which are established by Acts of Parliament: the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Public Transport Council (PTC). The ministry also oversees the operation of the Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB).
