Singapore Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore) Full time

**The Company**:
**The association was established in 1993 to promote the use of franchising, licensing and branding as a growth strategy for Singapore enterprises. Through our partnership with Singapore government agencies and international franchise and license bodies (i.e. FLA is a member of the World Franchise Council and Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation), FLA (Singapore) supports our members’ internationalisation plans. With a 140-company strong membership base and growing, representing more than 250 exciting brands, FLA (Singapore) is led and managed by a dedicated team of advisors, committee members and secretariat to bring the franchising and licensing dreams and ambitions of Singapore companies into reality.**:
**Responsibilities include**:
**Events**:
**1. Country deep-dive workshops (with corresponding country resource kit developed)**:

- In full charge to organise each workshop (incl curating content, source/shortlist/secure relevant speakers, ready marketing materials, marketing of event, drive-sign-ups, P&L management, event management, execution of event, timely payment from participants, event feedback, collection of contacts/data, post event management with partners/social media updates/note to participants, etc); 3-4 sessions per year
- In full charge of developing corresponding country resource kit (suggest ways to maximise sharing of the resource kit & generating revenue for FLA)

**2. Business mission trips and tradeshows participation**:

- In full charge to organise & lead each overseas business matching mission trip / tradeshow participation (incl researching on suitable tradeshow & curating trip programme to maximise itinerary, source/shortlist/secure relevant speakers/partners to assist in putting the trip programme together, prepare trip handout for participants, work with vendors to ready marketing materials, marketing of event, P&L management, event management to ensure sufficient leadtime, execution of event, drive sign-ups, timely payment from participants, event feedback, collection of contacts/data, logistic coordinating or the trip, post event management with partners/social media updates, etc); 3-4 overseas missions per year
- To brief, select and negotiate payment with consultants (if required)
- In full charge of communication/negotiation with overseas tradeshow organiser for Singapore Pavillion Booth cost, contracts, payments, etc

**3. Marketing**:

- FLA digital platform/website development & maintenance: In full charge of content curation: Build & maintain an engaging & up to date company’s website
- Vet through all marketing communications (incl digital platform/website postings, social media updates, corporate brochure, event eDMs & suggest additional outreach channels to boost FLA’s branding and activities uptake)

**4. General association support**:

- Support membership recruitment (within project scope)
- General administrations for projects/scopes above
- Other roles when assigned as need arises

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Exceptional marketing communication, writing (content curation) and interpersonal skills
- 2 years experience in event organisation (similar event as described in scope will be a plus)
- Detailed-oriented
- Independent and proactive team player
