**Direct Search Global is working with a SGX Mainboard Listed marine supplier to fill the role of Commercial Executive in Singapore. Their Headquarters is in Tuas, Singapore.**

**Who should apply?**

A paralegal or legal assistant who has at least 3 years of relevant working experience in reviewing commercial and company agreements. Prior experience within the Marine industry would be an advantage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Formulate, oversee, and evaluate a comprehensive governance, risk, and compliance control system to prevent and address breaches of legislative and regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring compliance with GDPR, Anti-bribery, Anti-Money Laundering, conflict of interest policies, and business continuity, encompassing disaster recovery adherence.
- Review the company’s onboarding policies and ensure the implementation across all offices.
- Supervise and refresh all global commercial Terms and Conditions.
- Support the Sales team by reviewing customer agreements.
- Oversee and update the company’s compliance policy.
- Devise a strategic approach to proactively prevent breaches of legal statutes and internal policy directives.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, and HR departments to oversee the implementation of standards and regulations.
- Interact with internal stakeholders across various countries and manage agreement filings.
- Preserve the accuracy of extensive data within the contracts database.
- Track the progress of agreements in the pipeline.
- Coordinate the execution of agreements among internal and external signatories.
- Update progress reports concerning contractual matters.
- Establish and optimize streamlined protocols for handling contracts efficiently.
- Assist Management in evaluating commercial and Terms & Conditions processes.
- Survey and report on shifts and advancements in regulations, particularly within the realm of regulatory compliance.
- Conduct basic training sessions to provide legal orientation.
- Demonstrate proficiency and/or understanding of corporate secretarial affairs.
- Evaluate Non-Disclosure Agreements (“NDA”) and collaborate with relevant departments to gather information necessary for NDA reviews.

**Job Requirements**:

- A minimum of diploma in Legal or Accounting.
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in reviewing commercial contracts.
