**About Communication & Engagement**

The Communication & Engagement division in Business China (BC) is responsible for public relations, communications, marketing, events organisation, recruitment and engagement of members within the organisation. It works closely with and supports the other programme and corporate divisions of Business China, so that Business China may execute its programmes and activities well.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Managing and updating member databases
- Engaging key members on a regular basis
- Developing and implementing membership recruitment and retention strategies
- Preparing reports on membership statistics and trends
- Maintaining knowledge of current industry trends and competitor offerings to help shape the organization’s membership packages
- Handling member payment and billing issues
- Assisting with marketing collaterals /design /videos /photos /copywriting

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin - written and verbal communication skills.
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Degree in Mass/Strategic Communications, Journalism, or other relevant disciplines.
- Good knowledge and interest in China and International relations
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
- This is an individual contributor role, although you may lead project teams. Being a self-starter is essential, especially stakeholder/partner engagement/management.
