**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate, implement and maintain safety, health and environment (HSE) activities.
- Support lead HSE to implement project HSE programs & initiatives.
- Informs in writing to the HSE Manager on completion of the provision of necessary HSE equipment and fire preventive measures has been taken on board.
- Inspect and ensure safety measure have been taken on board.
- Endorse the various Permit-To-Work authorized by the company.
- Conduct daily inspection of project work and activities to ensure compliance with Government legislations and company's regulations.
- Investigate incidents, analysis of root causes and recommend corrective measures.
- Perform firefighting and rescue operation when required.
- Plan, control and prepare work schedules, manpower distribution and tasks.
- Plan and execute yearly fire drills.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superior(s) from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in any Engineering disciplines
- Possessed following safety certificates - Hot Work, Work At Height and Confined Space Assessor will be an added advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
- Able to motivate in a challenging work environment.
- Must be able to board ships, enter confined spaces with limited visibility and have the ability to climb up and down stairs and/or ladders of varying heights. Good in planning, organizing, interpersonal skills and able to work independently.
