**Responsibilities**:

- Build and implement reliable ETL data pipeline using CloverDX, SQL and Unix shell/PERL scripting.
- Enhance and fine tune existing data pipeline to improve code quality.
- Write/Debug Korn shell-script and/or Perl scripts.
- Debug and rectify data issues in the existing ETL jobs.
- Maintain and build data pipeline schedules using workload management tools like D-series.
- Maintain ETL environment and ETL projects to streamline automated unit testing.
- Build and implement new automated tools for ETL CICD pipeline and release process.
- Develop complex SQL routines and implement Jaspersoft/BI reports. Fine tune existing templates and reports.
- Build and implement ad-hoc CSV data reports on need basis.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

**Qualifications**

**Basic Qualifications**:

- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD in n ETL/Data engineering space with a role as Developer or Senior Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience to implement and enhance the data pipelines using ETL tools like Informatica, Ab Initio or CloverDX.
- Good level of project experience in ETL/BI domain.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Should have worked in development or enhancement projects in ETL and Data warehousing domain, with good skill set in UNIX shell scripting/Perl scripting.
- Need to have sound knowledge of database systems and should be good in writing SQL queries.
- Basic knowledge of software configuration techniques and code promotion techniques using GIT.
- Good knowledge of scheduling/workload management tools like D-series or Auto-sys.
- Sound knowledge of Star schema/Data warehousing techniques.
- Good knowledge of Dev, QA, production infrastructure, processes, and environments.
- Well versed with ETL standards and best practices.
- Experience working with Reporting tools like Jasper, MicroStrategy, PowerBI or Tableau. Past project experience using Jaspersoft preferred.
- Nice to have project experience of building dimensional pipeline to support OLAP module.
- Nice to have project experience with Big data technologies and No-SQL database like Cassandra.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience in the financial domain or payment industry is a plus
