A global leader in the food and beverage ingredients, they are looking for an experienced Derivatives Trader to join their company.

**Your new role**
- Execution of Trades: Execute trades in derivatives instruments across various markets, including options, futures, and other derivatives products. Ensure accurate and timely trade execution while adhering to company policies, regulatory requirements, and best execution practices.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis and research to identify potential trading opportunities in derivatives markets. Stay updated on market trends, news, and events that may impact the derivatives market. Utilise market data and analytics tools to make informed trading decisions.
- Risk Management: Monitor and manage risk associated with derivatives trading activities. Implement appropriate risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and ensure compliance with risk limits and regulatory requirements. Proactively identify and assess potential risks and take necessary actions to safeguard the firm's positions.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, brokers, and other market participants.
- Trade Support and Documentation: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless trade execution and resolve any trade-related issues. Maintain accurate trade records and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Stay updated on relevant regulations, exchange rules, and industry best practices governing derivatives trading

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees such as MBA or CFA are a plus.
- Solid experience in derivatives trading, preferably as an execution trader, within a financial institution, hedge fund, or investment bank.
- Strong knowledge of derivatives products, including options, futures, and other complex instruments. Familiarity with trading strategies and risk management techniques.
- Proficiency in utilising trading platforms, order management systems, and market data/analytics tool
