**About the Role**:
Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated **Environmental Engineer**to join our team and lead the development and implementation of eco-certification schemes and advisory projects. You will play a key role in promoting sustainable practices across industries through technical expertise and strategic program development.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Environmental Certifications - Development**:

- Develop new SGLS product criteria and eco-certification schemes.
- Design and implement training and assessment programs for sustainability.
- Conduct periodic reviews and updates of certification programs.

**Environmental Certifications - Evaluation**:

- Analyse SGLS data to identify business opportunities and challenges.
- Conduct on-site audits and manage accreditation processes.
- Supervise auditors and respond to certification-related complaints and appeals.

**Advisory Projects**:

- Collaborate with Business Development to assess and implement sustainability projects.
- Provide technical inputs and draft client reports.

**Audits & Accreditation**:

- Manage GENICES and ISO17065 accreditation activities.
- Lead discussions and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

**Other Duties**:

- Support major organisational events.Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of carbon emission protocols (SBTi, GHG Protocol, Paris Agreement).
- Familiarity with waste management regulations and ESG frameworks.
- Experience with ISO standards (14001, 14024, 17065, 14064/14065).
- Proficient in Sustainability Reporting (GRI, SDG).
- Excellent analytical, research, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English.
- A team player with a passion for environmental sustainability.
