**What the role is**

**What you will be working on**

As an Assistant Engineer (Electrical) with Jurong Water Reclamation Plant, your responsibilities would include the following:

- To prepare, plan and review the comprehensive inspection/maintenance (preventive and predictive) programs for Electrical equipment/system (such as switchboards, transformers, motors, etc) and ensure equipment are properly maintained in accordance to schedule.
- To carry out troubleshooting and maintenance of Electrical equipment
- To prepare, plan and review the maintenance budget, and ensure expenditure is utilised in accordance to plan
- To facilitate, liaise and communicate with staff and Contractors to achieve works targets and timeline, resolve technical issues
- To prepare specifications, scope of works and cost estimates, and call tenders and quotations for maintenance and repair works.
- To follow up on asset management and procurement requirements that include raising and supporting Purchase Orders and Works Orders, generating Good Receipt Notes and Completion Certificates.
- To ensure safety standards of works carried out in the plant by providing safe work briefing to the contract workers, conduct regular safety inspection and prepare Notification/ Permit to Work. Prepare and review risk assessments and safe work procedures.
- To carry out safety, SMART and innovation projects to enhance Plant safety, operation and maintenance

**What we are looking for**
- Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent
