**JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE**:
1. The Assistant Process Engineer is part of a key member of the Engineering and Manufacturing team.

2. The individual will be actively involved in all aspects of the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality processes to meet or exceed factory KPIs.

3. The individual will cover Process Engineering support for the Cover Express department

4. The Assistant Process Engineer reports directly to the Sr. Process Engineer.

**JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE**:

2. The individual will be actively involved in all aspects of the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality processes to meet or exceed factory KPIs.

3. The individual will cover Process Engineering support for the Cover Express department

4. The Assistant Process Engineer reports directly to the Sr. Process Engineer.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Support for process and production engineering activities

2. Work closely with planning for production control

3. Work with Quality function for process monitoring and trending

4. Responsible for process yield monitoring, control, trending, and improvement

5. Perform failure analysis to understand product and process performance

6. Evaluate and propose jigs/ fixtures design in the new or existing product line

7. Responsible for production tooling management

8. Perform study on process Overall Equipment Effectiveness

9. Create drawings and liaise with vendor on tooling improvements

10. Verify correctness of drawings and specs (internal/external)

11. Work with vendor to improve process system and methods

12. Support new product development (R&D) activities that relate to processing and production engineering

13. Provide training and awareness updates to supervisors, technicians, and operators

14. Attend conference after working hours when necessary

15. Work with production manager, incorporating EHS practice in production management

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:
a. Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Materials, Chemical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

b. Preferably 2 years experience in Process or production operation

c. Experience in the usage of SAP, CAD, analytical tools, and equipment

d. Able to speak and write in simple English and Chinese (in order to understand and handle work processes with prospective Chinese-speaking clients).
