Singapore Income Insurance Limited Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess and underwrite profitable life and health business in line with your underwriting authority, as well as INCOME's risk and underwriting guidelines.
- Establish relationships with distribution channels and supporting them in understanding the underwriting guidelines and decisions.
- Provide service support and liaison for the sales channels
- Provide underwriting assessment support to internal stakeholders for e.g. customer service or claims personnel.
- Liaise with reinsurers on complex cases or refer cases to reinsurer if sum at risk exceeds treaty limits
- Responsible for conducting case reviews and providing performance/development reports.
- Provide training and coaching to junior underwriters.
- To be involved in adhoc duties or projects related to underwriting

**Requirements**:

- At least a diploma or degree
- A degree in Insurance or Biomedical Science or Life Science would be an added advantage
- At least 7 years of experience in life and health underwriting
- Experience in high net worth underwriting will be preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Committed, take ownership and results-driven
