**Head of Engineering**:
**Your Main Quest**:
As the Head of Engineering, you will significantly impact the company's success by overseeing high-level strategic initiatives, managing the engineering team, and actively contributing to the development of our products. Your role will involve operating at different levels, focusing on driving the product roadmap, scaling the engineering team, and maintaining a high level of technical excellence.

**30,000ft (High-Level Strategic Initiatives) - 30% of your time**:

- Collaborate with the leadership team to define and drive the product roadmap
- Mentor and foster a collaborative, quality-driven engineering culture
- Establish and enforce engineering principles to scale the engineering team

**10,000ft (Managerial/Team-Level Responsibilities) - 40% of your time**:

- Lead and manage an ambitious engineering team, leveraging each individual's strengths and implementing effective processes for a healthy engineering culture
- Build and grow the engineering team while sharing your extensive knowledge through peer mentorship
- Actively participate in team development by conducting code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives

**0ft (Hands-On Technical Contributions) - 30% of your time**:

- Make key technology decisions that shape the company's architecture and technical strategy as we scale to serve millions of users worldwide
- Contribute to code, architecture, and design
- Utilize code and project management tools such as Notion and Git

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in building or scaling an engineering team while maintaining technical excellence
- Demonstrated success in building and delivering products
- Prior experience managing a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Strong technical skills and ability to make informed decisions
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Fluent communication skills, both written and spoken

**Bonus**:

- Prior experience with 3D products, such as simulations, gaming, or AR/VR/XR
- Prior experience with AI/ML systems in research or applied settings
- Prior experience with Computer Vision-based products
